Wabanaki Tree Spirit Tours Wins Indigenous Tourism Award

On the evening of November 9th 2022 Wabanaki Tree Spirit Tours & Events of Fredericton, New Brunswick was awarded Indigenous Tourism Award by the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick. This award recognizes the Indigenous excellence in promoting Indigenous tourism by an individual or a business.

Wabanaki Tree Spirit Tours’ Cecilia Brooks and her son Anthony Brooks previous won for the year of 2021 and now again this award will be recognized for their efforts in providing outstanding service, dedication and commitment to the Indigenous tourism industry in New Brunswick. 

The Gala and Award Ceremony closed out the 2022 39th annual TIANB Summit with a banquet dinner, and performances. ITANB staff attended with six members and represented the Wabanaki Tree Spirit Tours team by bringing an Indigenous presence to the celebration of tourism industry leaders.
