First Nations Storyteller David Smith Joins Lineup of Speakers at 39th Annual Tourism Summit!

Having grown up outside First Nations communities because of the 60’s Scoop, Smith has a unique point of view on Indigenous culture. This two-eyed seeing approach allows Dave to see both sides of the relationship between Canadians and his people.

His passion is to learn as much as he can to help facilitate a better understanding between the two Nations.

He is also passionate about reclaiming his culture and sharing it with us.

Dave will recount his personal story along with traditional stories that he relates to our present day, and will engage us in a conversation around reconciliation.
